Time for a little 'catch up' with their results in recent weeks.

Back on Sunday 21st October, just under three weeks ago, it was a mixed bag of results for our Junior sides...

Athenlay were simply too strong for our UNDER SEVENS, as we went down, firstly, 8-1 & then 7-1, in our two games against them.

The UNDER EIGHTS went goal crazy themselves, smashing no less than 15 (fifteen!) past poor old(well very young but you know what I mean) Junior Reds Titans, keeping sa clean sheet in the process.

The UNDER TENS were in League Cup action, a draw followed by a win in their two games. We have kindly been sent a report by one of the players parents:

Dulwich Hamlet 1 Phoenix Jaguars 1

"After an early start and not playing the week before, one would have thought Dulwich would have been a bit slow at the beginning of this cup game. That was not the case as Dulwich took to the playing field. The passing was crisp and sharp and they stormed into the lead with a goal from Shamal. Dulwich looking more and more like Barcelona ( a comment made by one of the parents )passing the ball and raining shot after shot on the Jaguars goal. Dulwich never looked like conceding a goal and went in at half time with the lead still remaining 1-0. The Jaguars regrouped and began to put pressure on Dulwich in the second half. They scored to level the game, one all was the result. That left Dulwich needing to win their next game to progress to the next round."

Newtown Reds 2 Dulwich Hamlet 3

"Dulwich pushed forward and were gifted an early own goal by the Reds.
Newtown Reds then equalised. Just outside the box Shamal scored with a low shot into the corner of the goal. The crowd went wild as the young Dulwich players celebrated. The Reds then produced a goal out of nowhere. Dulwich lifted their heads and scored the winning goal when Ronnie's long pass found Alfie and he despatched a great shot at the goal to take Dulwich into the next round of the cup. Well done to all."

The UNDER ELEVENS London Cup tie away to FC Jean Le Te was postponed; while the UNDER TWELVES bowed out of the League Cup, going down by the odd goal in five at home to Culverley Rangers.

Our final Junior game of the day was the UNDER FIFTEENS B Division match, they travelled to Darenth Rangers, but returned to our corner of south-east London pointless, losing 3-1.

The following week, Sunday 28th October, saw only three of our young team playing, but none of them lost!

The UNDER SEVENS were left a bit disappointed, after opponents Ebbsfleet United had no team.

In the West Division our UNDER EIGHTS had a fine result, travelling to Fisher FC, who were no match for our boys, as we ran them rampant, winning by five goals to one.

Our UNDER ELEVENS received a walkover in the London Cup, after opponents FC Jean Le Te arrived way after the scheduled time allowed & our boys had changed & left, in a home game, that was switched to our venue following their lack of organisation the previous week.

In the C West Division our UNDER TWELVES played out an eight goal thriller, sharing the spoils, four apiece, with visitors Lee Green United.

The UNDER THIRTEENS also drew at home, in a C Division encounter, drawing 1-1 with our guests Junior Reds Titans.

Everything last weekend,on Sunday 4th November was postponed, due to waterlogged pitches.
