In a game where The Hamlet trailed until the 83rd minute, stoppage time goals from Xavier Vidal & Erhun Oztumer carried them to a victory that seemed unlikely when they trailed by 2 goals at the interval.
Having endured a near four hour trip from Dulwich due to an accident on the route out of London, Dulwich opened the game confidently but were to fall behind on 10 minutes when Anthony Riviere was allowed to turn inside and fire a shot from the edge of the box that gave Nlate no chance.
Dulwich had their chances to level with Erhun Oztumer thwarted by a fine stop from Holloway before the home side doubled their lead in the 33rd minute. A cross from that got caught in the strong wind deceived Nlate and Beales had the simple task of heading in.
Prior to the half time interval Dulwich went close again through a driven shot from Ahmed Deen that was narrowly wide and then Erhun Oztumer just failed to turn the ball home under pressure. In fact if he had gone down then he may have been awarded the foul and consequently a penalty.
The second half saw Dulwich dominate from the start and they peppered the Margate goal. Nyren Clunis went close during a goalmouth scramble and Holloway saved well from Oztumer before Dulwich reduced the arrears. Kevin James was played into space and he drew Holloway and finished with ease.
Dulwich were then handed a numerical advantage as Margate right back John Folkes received two quick cautions for fouls on Dean Lodge. The Hamlet continued to spread the ball wide and got their equaliser when Ahmed Deen delivered a cross from the bye line that Dean Lodge turned home in the middle of the goal.
Not content with a point Dulwich pushed on. Xavier Vidal had a number of efforts that got closer to the goal each time before in injury time his low drive from 20 yards swerved in front of Holloway and nestled in the corner of the goal. That was then added to deep into stoppage time as Erhun Oztumer was sent clear on the right and finished with a shot across the keeper into the far corner.
