Dulwich Hamlet manager Gavin Rose has been in touch on the latest news

Speaking earlier to Hamlet Pitchero the Dulwich Hamlet boss confirmed that Harry Ottaway suffered an unfortunate leg break in the game yesterday against Carshalton Athletic.

He was taken to hospital and his method of recovery will be looked at tomorrow. One option is to go straight into plaster. Another is to operate now and have a pin inserted into the leg.

Gavin informed us that is an approximate two millimetre break, and not initially bad as first feared, which is a good sign, but it will be at least three or four months before he can think about playing again.

Said Gavin: " I've been to see him in hospital, and he is in good spirits. He realised straight away how serious it was, and when I saw him the first question on his lips was how long he would be out for. It is a great shame for him, as he has started so well, and is a good lad. But that's not important at the moment, my first concern is that he gets through whatever operation he needs, and then rehabilitation."

Everyone at Dulwich Hamlet sympathises with Harry on his injury, and wishes him all the best in his recovery, and look forward to seeing him back in a Pink and Blue shirt later in the season.
