The match, which is part of the special 125th anniversary tour in July that will culminate with the game against our good friends from Altona 93 on Sunday 15th July at noon, with the trip completely funded by a three year fundraising initiative by our fans, can now be confirmed.

We shall play Bezirksliga Nord side HFC FALKE, which is level seven in the German footballing pyramid; Altona themselves competing in Regionalliga Nord, which sits at their level four.

HFC Falke were formed as recently as the summer of 2014, and started at the very bottom of the German pyramid, but have grown slowly but surely into one of the best-supported and managed non-league clubs in the entire Hamburg area, and we are sure the choice of the opposition for our first match will please our fans.

We shall be the first ever international opponents for HFC Falke, so will create a piece of history with them.

Their usual ground-share home at the Rudi Barth Stadium won't be available, so the match will be staged at the home of another local side, as soon as this is confirmed we will let you know where, but rest assured for our thirsty supporters-and no doubt those of Altona 93 who will come along to cheer us on-we have demanded that plenty of beer will be on sale!
