This afternoon is the perfect time to splash on the old war paint, so to speak.

For the Football Beyond Borders group, who you may recall were at Champion Hill with their film cameras a few weeks ago against Metropolitan Police, as guests of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, and they are back today.

During the match they will be situated at the open area past the main stand to offer face painting for not just youngsters, but grown-ups as well. All they ask for is a donation to their funds.

Our Football Club has also given them permission to use our Clubhouse this evening, to launch their 'Football Beyond Borders-TV' which will feature football, film & music.

Football Beyond Borders does great work all over South London. They organise football training sessions by FA qualified coaches , alongside mentoring and tutoring programmes which concentrate on giving educational and employment support to young people in some of our capital cities more deprived estates and schools.

Exclusively premiered tonight are films they have made on Dulwich Hamlet, with a number of interviews with players, management, fans & Football Committee members alike. And they will also feature one they have done on the Essex Senior League outfit, Clapton FC.

Entry for Saturday’s fundraiser will be FREE for anyone who has already donated £10 or over to the FBB TV Crowdfunder (bring a printout of your donation email please!). And you can find more details of that on their website.

Entry will also be on “suggested donation” basis for Dulwich Hamlet and Clapton fans with a matchday ticket (please hold onto your ticket stubs) or club scarves / badges.

So you have no excuse not to hang around after the match has finished! Have a drink or two in the bar, have that post-match chat with other fans & mingle with our players, before enjoying the films & music, supplied by Football Beyond Borders!
