Both the Under 18 and the Under 16s ASPIRE Academy coached teams were in action on Sunday in the Kent Youth League.

The Under 18's had an early start travelling to Welling United, who boasted the North Division's only 100% record, having won their opening two games, the first of these 3-1 away to the Hamlet at the start of the season. Lying second behind Greenwich Borough Dulwich Hamlet were keen to close the gap on their rivals at the head of the pack. Unsurprisingly it produced a ding-dong encounter but after 90 minutes and six goals it was honours even. Lekan Osideko continued his fine run of goals with the opener whilst Kiki Oshilaja and Axel Garcia also found the net in the 3-3. The result leaves Dulwich Hamlet three points adrift of Greenwich Borough, though the sides have yet to meet in league action. Both teams have played 5 games, two more than chasing Bromley A, Bromley B and Welling United. Dulwich Hamlet's next game is this coming Sunday 30th October when they entertain Phoenix Sports, kickoff 11am. Please note there is no National League Under 19 Alliance game this midweek due to half term. Dulwich's next game in that competition is on Wednesday 2nd November when they are at home to Three Bridges.

Meanwhile the Under 16s were also involved in a high scoring draw, their home encounter with HF Sports Paulista ending 2-2. The result leaves them 7th in the table though they have some games to catch up after a delayed start to the season. The Under 16's next outing is this coming Sunday when they meet Bromley at home in the Under 16 Causeway Steel Challenge Cup, kickoff 2pm.
