It wasn't the busiest week in the local press, but here's what they've had to say over the last few days...

Unfortunately there was NO non-league coverage in the 'South London Press' this week, neither in their midweek Teusday edition or yesterday's 'weekend' copy.

So it was left to the weekly 'Southwark News' on Thursday for our Dulwich Hamlet fix in print.

The main headline led with our first defeat of the season:

HAMLET UNBEATEN RUN ENDS AT LEATHERHEAD

Hamlet's unbeaten start to the season ended on Monday when they fell to defeat away at newly promoted Leatherhead.
In sodden conditions a goal in each half from Stacy Long and Richard Avery ended Dulwich's impressive start to the campaign.
The result against Lewes on Saturday was a marked contrast although the Champion Hill side put in a performance that was far from polished.
The visitors could rightly complain that having hit the woodwork on a couple of occasions they were unlucky to lose, but Hamlet always appeared to have more cutting edge in the final third of the pitch.
As is the norm at Champion Hill the home side dominated possession in the first period but on this occasion chances were few and far between.
In fact the best opportunity fell to Terry Dodd from Lewes who was rather wasteful when he found himself one-on-one with Dulwich stopper Phil Wilson.
Dulwich were much sharper after the restart and it was Nyren Clunis who found himself in the right spot when he converted an Ashley Carew centre from close range.
As Lewes pushed on after that Clunis and first half sub Abdul Mansaray always looked likely to punish visitors on the counter attack.
With five minutes of injury time being played visiting keeper Rikki Banks took his chances at a corner.
The ball broke to Mansaray at the halfway line and the speedy midfielder showed great composure to exploit a scrambling defence and play in Xavier Vidal for the second goal of the day.
Monday's result means Hamlet have won four, drew one and lost one of their opening half dozen games which leaves them in fifth place in the table after the conclusion of games on Bank Holiday Monday.

There was also another feature, which was publicising our special Non League Day, on Saturday 6th September:

Pay what you want at Hamlet

Fans can pay what they want for Hamlet's home game on Saturday September 6, a fixture that is part of a nationwide campaign called Non League Day.
The game against Hampton & Richmond Borough takes place when no Premiership or Championship game occurs, due to international games, so Non League sides use the weekend to promote themselves.
Dulwich are also using the game to raise cash for the Mayor of Southwark's annual chairty drive, as a donation will be made to that effort depending on how much is handed over by supporters who come through the turnstiles.
