Dulwich had settled into their outing at Parkside but had yet to really test Aveley goalkeeper Lamar Joseph-Johnson. However they would take a 21st minute lead, when Ibrahim Kargbo released Nathan Green on the left wing. The full back sent in an early cross, and Dumebi Dumaka nipped in front of his marker to prod inside the near post. Aveley 0-1 Dulwich Hamlet.
