Dunbar s1 v Boroughmuir s1
Dunbar finish season on a high
Dunbar started with a full strength team against their city opponents. It did not take the home team long to set out their stall. With only 1 minute played Rogan Paul burst through a poor defence to score with Struan Fenn converting. Straight from the kick off the home defence was caught napping as the visitors ran straight in at the corner unopposed. Dunbar did exactly the same with big number 8 Cameron McFaddyn running in at the posts with Fenn again converting. It was looking like one way traffic as Ross Blair burst through to score on 7 minutes to lead 19-5.
Dunbar continued to press home their advantage and it was only a matter of time before the home team scored again. This time centre Scott Hamilton showed his pace to outstrip the defence with Fenn converting. With 16 minutes played the home stand-off Struan Fenn showed his class by weaving his way to the try line then converting his own try.
With half time approaching Boroughmuir scored a well worked try under the posts which was converted.
