About the Fund
The Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club (Seniors), formed in 1971. The Club has won 3 1st Grade premierships, the first was in the Sydney 2nd Division Competition in 1984, the second was in the NSW Suburban Rugby Union Competition winning the Clark Cup in 3 Division in 1999 and the third was winning the NSW Suburban Rugby Union's 1st Division Kentwell Cup in 2003.
The club has won many honors over the years by winning NSW Suburban Rugby Union Divisional Club Championships and Premiership across the Grades.
The Club proposed proactive changes to implement long term financial security of the Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club and still competing in the NSW Suburban Rugby Union Competition for many years to come.It was raised as an issue as increased costs of running a rugby club go up every year that would have an impact on all NSW Suburban Rugby Union Clubs.Following that pressing issue, the club committee undertook to activate the opportunity for our past players,committee members,directors and supporters to support the development of rugby and support the Rugby Club through the Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club Fund.
“The Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club Fund” had been officially established, with donations going directly to
“support rugby development and the club in areas of
coaching, scholarships plus new equipment and facilities”
The Fund is set up under the umbrella of the Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club and is administered by the Dundas Valley Vikings Rugby Football Club Management Committee. All donations are payable to the Dundas Valley Rugby Football Club and importantly are tax deductible.
