Dunfermline U15s missed out on a chance to get only their second win of the season after being edged out by Aberdeen Wanderers at westhill

Aberdeen opened the scoring when their forwards burst through from close in after a couple of minutes. Dunfermline replied when Ali scored his first of three tries. Wanderers responded and another forward drive saw a second score. This sparked Dunfy into life scoring three tries before half time, the first from Cormac who danced his way down the touch line to score in the corner, the second from Adam after a strong run and offload from Jamie with Ali adding the final score before half time with a strong run through the defence. Wanderers responded with a score in the last minutes in the corner after some good forward play.

The first half momentum and lead though was lost at the start of the second half when two cheap scores were given away though poor passing resulting in turnovers and scores. Dunfermline did well to get back on level terms with a good back move seeing Ali take an inside ball of Cormac to run thru to score.

The remainder of the game was keenly contested with chances falling to both sides however it was Wanderers who scored the next try to give them the edge going into closing stages before adding a further score with the last play.

In the end disappointment, the boys put a lot into this game, however they were just edged out.
