Dunfermline B – Linlithgow/Portobello Sunday 23rd September
Team Dunfermline (Alphabetical)
Dunfermline RFC 2 – 7 Linlithgow RFC
Callum Bannister (2)
Learning from lessons learnt in the first match there was improved tackling, with the tackle happening quicker. There was good use of the pitch width and the team listened to the coaches shouts of play wide. The defence was good with Linlinthgow being defeated more than once. So why so many trys for Linlithgow? Did we tackle quick enough, did we mark our opponent all of the time, was there a regular try scorer that always got the ball and ran like the wind. We will all have our ideas, but the most important thing to remember is to practice, listen to the coaches at training, work as a team and trust your team mates to score the try for the team. Don't be defeated, learn from your mistakes.
Keep up the practice at home. Practice, Practice, Practice...
