Injury hit 14s find going tough
The u14s today welcomed Carmarthen Quins who answered the call after Fall Bay refused to play us.
The injury list from the Penallta game grew during the week and a weekned Dunvant team bravely took the field however the big Quins back line scored two early tries to show they didnt have the same problems as Dunvant. The reworked Dunvant back line found it hard to contain the quins who ran in several more tries to one from Dunvant scored by Jordon Liney, the end of the first half saw Kristian Lavallin hurt his neck and leave the field for an afternoon in A+E.
The second half saw Dunvant with further injurys but with more determination.Quins scored a nice try through their backs but back came Dunvant with a great chip and chase which had Karl Lewis out pacing the Quins backs who could only resort to tripping the Dunvant winger short of the line.
Moments later Karl had another chance which wasnt stopped and he touched down for a fine solo try. The last word however went to the Quins to put an end to the game with a try in the left corner.
Player of the week went to Jordon Liney
(Kristian is home from A+E and is ok)

Liz Lavallin - 1 year agoMany thanks to everyone who helped Kris today, especially the quins coach who took charge of the first age, he's now very stiff and sore but no serious damage.
