SUMMER RUGBY INVITATION FOR CHARITY
Any player's wishing to play rugby during the summer in 7's, 10's or Vets are invited to join the Royal Welsh Knights Invitational Rugby.

THE ROYAL WELSH KNIGHTS INVITATIONAL RUGBY
The Royal Welsh Knights are an Invitational Rugby Union side for Veterans and Serving members of the Royal Welsh and its Antecedent Regiments and civilian players from Welsh Clubs. The side will participate in 7s, 10s tournaments around the UK and abroad whilst also raising money for its chosen charities by bucket collection at events:

Golden Grove Appeal
The Invitational side will change dependant on who is available and who has still got it in the legs! Entry to competitions will be paid for by the squad between them and then a lot more money raised for the charities of the Royal Welsh Knights.
A player database is required before it can enter its first event, followed by a yearly event programme of which competitions to enter. It is envisaged that in August 2011 a tour to the USA will be planned.
We have achieved sponsorship from PSM Sportswear and Rugby Performance who are providing the playing kit.
Any tournaments will not clash with any club/Regt games as we play in the close season and currently have been invited to three tournaments in August.
