Dunvant travel to 10th placed ,relegation threatened Bedlinog for a first ever league visit & both sides seeking victory for different reasons

When Dunvant were due to play the Foxes away on 21st January they were sitting comfortably in 5th place. However, they have not won since 3rd December and have lost 8 consecutive games but picked up 6 very valuable losing bonus points in the process. They are currently in 10th place on 39 points and very much in a relegation scrap with 7 other clubs still in the dogfight for relegation. With Bedlinog’s final game away at Pontypool next Saturday, today’s game is probably their last chance to have a chance of safety. With Dunvant already relegated, they are playing for pride and seeking a win to reward the red and green army having lost so tragically in the last second of the game against Beddau at Broadacre last weekend. Currently Bedlinog have scored 43 tries to Dunvant’s 47 and 346 points to Dunvant’s 403. On paper this is a very close game which either side could win but of course Bedlinog have home advantage. It should be another cracker.
We need our traveling supporters to turn out in force and get behind the boys. Don’t forget you red and green supporters- respect the Referee, respect the players, respect our opponents and enjoy the game, whatever the result, wherever you are.
Be Loud-Be Proud
