The Fera have put up some very creditable performances in Division 1 this season having effectively jumped up 2 leagues as Division 3 South West Champions in 2013-14 . To date they have victories against Mumbles, Kenfig Hill, Cwmllynfell twice and a win and a draw against Trebanos. With safety still not guaranteed for them and four games to go, rest assured they will be out to take Dunvant’s scalp at Broadacre today. Dunvant have lost twice against both Kenfig Hill and Trebanos so it shows how closely the teams are matched in this unpredictable league.
Dunvant put up a superb display last Saturday at Bonymaen but lost out to the league leaders and have shown both attacking excellence and some outstanding defence in recent games to justify our 4th place in the league. With an in form Waunarlwydd coming up fast behind us, Dunvant also need victory today to maintain at least 4th place in our penultimate game of the season. So let’s get behind our boys and give them our legendary Broadacre support to cheer them on to victory.
Finally, there will be a 1 minute silence before kick off in memory of former Dunvant Chairman, Coach, Captain and Youth player John ‘Mock’ Evans who sadly passed away aged 80 earlier this week. Our condolences go to his widow Miriam, children Richard and Sarah and their families at this sad time.
