Dunvant senior players Scott Edwards and Jack Thomas represented the RAF Predators in this year’s RAF Akrotiri 10’s tournament in Cyprus more than a dozen military rugby teams have been in Cyprus for the week long Akrotiri 10s tournament.
The event has been running for decades and attracts teams from across the British Armed Forces, with the big prize the Aki 10s Cup. Although Scott and Jack’s Predators were knocked out in the early rounds they went on to win the Plate final taking victory over 1 LANCS by 40 points to 5.

The Akrotiri Flamingos beat the RAF Seagulls in the final of the cup competition 39-0 and a team from the Cyprus Ba Ba's won the Bowl Competition beating Military Working Dogs 12- 5.

Nice to see the lads keeping fit through the summer. Training starts next Thursday 29th June 7pm at Broadarce for the rest of the squad.’
