CAN DUNVANT TAME THE OTTERS? (25th Mar)

1 month ago By Roger Knight

Dunvant travel to Spring Gardens to face 2nd placed Narberth and needing a miracle against the Otters to avoid relegation

Narberth are flying high in 2nd place with 6 home wins from 8 and 8 away wins from 10 and are certainly targeting the runners up spot with Pontypool almost out of sight with Tata Steel and Beddau also chasing them hard. In Dunvant’s first visit to Spring Gardens for 8 years and our last recoded victory against Narberth 11 years ago this is a very tough ask for our boys. Only a bonus point can provide any hope of surviving to another day if Newbridge and Cardiff Met do not get a point today. As it stands, a straight no point defeat for Dunvant means we are definitely relegated back to Division 1. Our boys have fought for their lives in so many games this season and today will be no different. Our travelling supporters will need to be in full voice in support of Dunvant for any hope of silencing the Otters.
For those supporters unable to make the trip to Narberth, there are two games at Broadacre. Dunvant 2nd XV are now playing a friendly against Vardre 2nds. Dunvant Youth's league game against Bonymaen has been called off of we are grateful thet Trebanos Youth have agreed to travel to Broadacre for a friendly. Please do come down and support the boys if you can.
Don’t forget you red and green supporters- respect the Referee, respect the players, respect our opponents and enjoy the game, whatever the result, wherever you are.
Be Loud-Be Proud
