Aberystwyth got off to a flying start this season , fell away in mid season like Dunvant have, but have regrouped and with recent victories over Dunvant and Kidwelly now sit in 6th place with 9 wins from 18, 51 tries and 45 points. On paper, Aber can still finish in 3rd place and will certainly be competing hard for an away win at Broadacre.
Dunvant, who were well beaten on our visit to Plascrug only three weeks ago have dropped to 4th place with 12 wins from 19, 65 tries and 58 points. With Gorseinon playing their last game of the season away at Felinfoel, Dunvant have a great chancing off getting back into 3rd place with two more games still to be played if we can win today. Our 2nd XV are hoping to play to Aberystwyth 2nds who have also travelled to Broadacre. Finally, Dunvant Youth have a home game against Loughor Youth. Victory for Dunvant Youth today in their final game of the season would see them crowned as OD league Champions, Loughor being the only other team in contention for the title so both sides will be flat out for victory. Very busy day at Broadacre today, lets hope we can make it a treble celebration.
