Since we last met Penclawdd in 2013 they have made the journey down to Division 3 and back up to Division 1. This season they have won 3 and lost 2 but surprisingly their victories have come away at Aberystwyth, Tenby United and Llangennech but have lost their two homes games against Gowerton and Felinfoel. Rest assured they will be vying hard for victory on home soil against old rivals Dunvant this weekend. In our last 6 derbies Dunvant have won 3, Penclawdd 2 and 1 draw. The average margin of victory for either side is only 3 points which shows how tightly contested the games are between our sides.
Last time we visited the Donks, Dunvant won 9-3 in a dogged battle playing for 70 minutes with 14 men after our lock forward Jaen Botes was red carded.
You can be sure the Donks are going to have masses of vocal support for this one, and the red & green faithful will need to be in top voice in support of our boys.
