Although Dunvant currently sit top in League 1 West, it is only because Felinfoel’s game last weekend was abandoned due to injury with Foel in the lead 25-22 against Gowerton before an injury led to the game being abandoned after 79 minutes.
Last time we met the Foel they won comprehensively at Broadacre. beating us 18-53. However in our last 7 encounters Dunvant have won 2-1 at Broadacre and 3-1 at the Foel. Our last meeting in the Cup was the Swalec Plate Round 2 match in December 2011 when Dunvant playing away won 19-24 having been 19-0 up in the first 20 minutes. That game was a real thriller and today’s game should be equally exciting if both teams are at the top of their form.
