Congratulations to Pontypool on winning the WRU National Championship but the 2nd relegation place is still on a knife edge

Pontypool are Champions but have nowhere to go with the Premiership landlocked for 3 years, so it will be another highly unbalanced league again next year unless the WRU have a major rethink about the Championship. In the relegation battle Newbridge on 40 points need at least a point at Narberth next Saturday to level with Glamorgan Wanderers who are probably now the favourites to go down. If Newbridge do get a point, they will relegate Wanderers on 8 games won to Wanderers 7. If Newbridge fail to get a point they will go down instead.
