It is with great sadness that we share the news that club stalwart Alan Robinson sadly passed away at the weekend. Alan was an active member of the Executive Committee and served as President from 1997 to 2000.

His funeral will be held at Durham Crematorium at 11.30 on Thursday 19th May followed by a buffet at the Club from 12.15 onwards. It was Alans express wish that DCRFC be the venue for his wake. Alan never married and has one elderly sister living in South Africa and two nephews living abroad who can not attend. Can we ask anyone who knew Alan or knows of others who may be interested to make the effort if at all possible to attend his funeral.
