This Saturday see's Durham Tigers take on Cramlington Rockets twice in one day .
Firstly the U13's team take to the field at 10.30am against a strong Cramlington side who recently knocked the Tigers out of the N.E Junior Cup competition . The Durham Tigers U13's have been going through a rebuilding phase and now have a strong team once more with some great new editions to the team and are improving week in week out under the tutorship of Tom Dawson and Jonny Griffith .
In the afternoon the Open Age play host to the unbeaten league leaders who are looking really strong yet again this season .
The Durham Tigers Open Age team notched up their first win of the season last week against Peterlee Pumas winning 36-24 and are hoping to keep that winning feeling by beating the league leaders and arguably the best team in the league this year .
Durham Tigers Open Age Head Coach Matthew Styran said " I was extremely impressed with last weeks performance , it's been coming for some time now and it finally all came together . Hopefully we can kick on from here and start putting that type of performance in week in week out and start notching up them wins . You never know we might even upset to form book and snatch a cheeky win on Saturday but my main aim is to see how the lads perform under pressure against a very strong team "
Don't forget , The U13's game kicks off at 10.30am and the Open Age kicks off at 2.30pm . Both games are being played on the Leisure Centre pitch at the Sunnydale Leisure Centre , Shildon , DL4 2EP .
Get yourselves down and support your local team !!!!
COME ON YOU TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
