Caley League rugby returns this weekend after a long summer break.
Dyce RFC travel to Kinloss Eagles for their first game of the season following an encouraging showing against Caley 2N side Deeside 1st XV in pre-season. The Eagles last participated in the league back in the 2014-15 season, so are somewhat of an unknown quantity.
Dyce have a new look and feel about them compared to the 2016-17 campaign, following the addition of some key players in the close season. Both the players and coaches are optimistic heading into the match, looking to buck last years loosing trend.
The teams' last meeting from back in May 2015 resulted in a 64-0 Dyce RFC drubbing, something the current crop of players are not wanting a repeat of.
Dyce RFC look to field a strong team at the start of the 2017-18 campaign with a mixture of experience and youth to combat the fitness of the Kinloss boys.
You can follow live updates from the match through the Ultimate Rugby app and searching for Dyce RFC to get up to date scores, as well as via twitter
There are likely to be spare seats on the bus for around 10 supporters- should you wish to join us up in Kinloss message us via Facebook or email to secure your spot!
