Club History

DMFC History Club History
Dynamo Molesey Football Club was established in 2006 by a group of friends returning home from University to East Molesey, near to the Surrey border. Originally a five-a-side outfit from 2002, the club still has many of the founding members of the club involved today.

Affiliated to Surrey FA and members of the Leatherhead League, Molesey were also the first FA Charter Standard Adult Club in Elmbridge, achieved in 2007 following the implementation of a Development Strategy. This strategy enabled the club to run three adult male teams during 2009/2010, with over 100 members and 5 qualified coaches.

The club has won two competitions in it's history; the Junior Charity Cup in 2008 and the Division 8 Championship in 2010. On many occassions however, finishing runners-up and cup finalists too. In 2009 the club was awarded the FA Charter Standard Adult Club of the Year by Surrey FA and the same accolade in the FA South East Regional Competition.

Following a restructure at the end of the 2009/2010 season, the club now runs one adult male team still in the Leatherhead League, and play home matches at Molesey Hurst.
