We're hosting the 7s this Friday night 6.30pm kick off lets pray for some sunshine !
It should be short and sweet with a couple of the side withdrwn from the competition.
This summer Warwickshire have kick-started an "IRB World Series style" Summer 7s League. Comprising of 5 local teams:
Old Laurentians
Earlsdon
Leamington
Barker's Butts
Broadstreet
Each club will host a separate event, with the positions over the 5 individual tournaments counting towards 1 team being crowned Warwickshire Summer 7s Series Champions!
The event is co-sponsored by BURRDA SPORT who have donated the following prizes:
WINNER - 1 set of 22 Match Jerseys
RUNNER UP - 25 Polo shirts
3rd PLACE - 20 Training Tees
In addition WORTHINGTONS will also be sponsoring the SERIES and will be providing the teams with brewed re-hydration cans.
The first tournament will be hosted by Old Laurentians on Saturday, 30th June and will be followed by events at the other 4 clubs throughout July.
The Warwickshire Summer 7s Series is a fantastic opportunity to get your fix of Rugby and summer sun. So please help your club by supporting each event!
Details of each event will be announced shortly but each club will submit a squad of 12 to each tournament. These Squads may change from event to event
