Date: Saturday 6th November 2010 - Kick Off: 14:15
FRIENDLY
| EARLSDON | 8 | vs | 21 | BROADSTREET |
'Street take the win
Should have only been 16 - 8
Earlsdon managed to get 16 Colts in one place and welcomed local city rivals Broadstreet. Earlsdon's With Liam Dyer back from his change of scene Earlsdon made the most of the early exchanges and captain Calumn Forsysth opened the scoring after a series of forward drives this was added to shortly after from the boot of Jack Walker for an early 8 - 0 lead.
Broadstreet then started to find their feet and the referee took a dislike to Earlsdon's defence giving the Broadstreet 10 Jack Howland a couple of penalties to come back into the game a converted try and further penalty gave 'Street a 16 - 8 lead in a game that could go either way.
The second half however failed to live up to the first and Paddy D'Arcy's tightening hamstring led to some re-shuffling of the home side welcoming Hamza back from a rib injury and putting Tom Morgan into the centres. A try from Broadstreet was all to show with Earlsdon trying to press the game and impress the watching district selectors.
