Durham City have had a positive start to the 2017-2018 campaign and currently sit sixth in Northern League Division Two. A 1-0 win on the opening day of the season at Jarrow FC was followed by 2-1 win at home to Alnwick Town on Saturday.
Now playing their home games at Willington, The Citizens will be looking to improve on last season's finish of 10th.

A strong Easington team is expected to go up against Durham. Jack Pounder is likely to return to the squad against his former club, as is Shane O'Brien.

The two sides met at Durham's old temporary home of Consett on February 25. In front of a crowd of 49, goals from Jack Pounder and David Paul gave the Colliers an impressive 2-0 win. Earlier in the season, the two sides shared the points at the Welfare Park with a 1-1 draw. Reece Kenney was Easington's scorer that night.
