Easington finally get the full season underway this week with a match against Shortwood Reserves at Addison Road. The first team have already played one league fixture against much fancied Ardley United in a really early start, however, pre season is now over and the league fixtures will continue now.

Easington manager Darren Beckett is certainly wary of the opposition this weekend and commented "Shortwood will be a tough prospect early in the season as you never know how many first team fringe players will be playing. That said, we had a good final friendly last week and are very much looking forward to the season starting properly."

Easington still have a few players not available at the moment. Terry Fitton and Craig Pearman are both on family holidays whilst Sam Grant and Mike Spaull are both injured. James McMahon is also not available this week is carrying a niggling injury.

Kick off 3 pm with hot and cold refreshments.
Brighton Vs Manchester City will also be on BT Sport after the Easington match.
