ESFC commitment to Safeguarding Children

With the new season for all youth teams only weeks away, and many back in training already, ESFC would like to remind all players/parents/coaches of their commitment to support a safe framework for football.

This season has seen the youth section expand to 16 teams, with over 200 players registered on the Whole Game System and over 50 qualified volunteers which is a fantastic achievement.

Through the help of our Child Welfare Officer Sandra Ryall, the Oxfordshire FA and the ESFC Committee, ESFC ensures that all adults who work with children associated to ESFC are:

1. Checked through a CRC check
2. Provided with suitable safeguarding training
3. Listen and report concerns from children and adults
4. Encourage anyone to report concerns

Through the provision of trained, qualified coaches we hope that we build on the success of last season, both on and off the field, and ensure that Easington Sports Football Club is a safe, enjoyable, inclusive environment for children.

This message will be reinforced to all managers through regular meetings with our coaches.
