As a small gestor and to go a little way to say thank-you to some of our great volunteers, on behalf of the Club we invited them to join us for our Clubs Christmas Lunch, three courses and dare I say a few extra bottles of wine thrown in. This was also a great opportunity for some of our newer volunteers to meet with Members, Patrons, Past and Present Players of our Club and indeed watch our Seniors in action.

One the day we hosted 60 Club Members, some of our wonderful Sponsors and of course many Friends attending the Lunch all to which cements our foundations and takes us into another year (second half of the season).

Simon Virgo and Glen Foley from our Under 9’s coaching team, Glen also as our Mini’s Coach development officer and generally supporting the Minis section.
Andrew Sherry, recently joined our team to look after our Clubs information and maintain our GMS system, no easy job I can tell you.
Stefan Cousins, should have been playing for our 1st XV but has due to injury taken a year off only to then take over the role as Coach for our Under 15’s, so no rest for Stefan.
Becky Quin – Our Club Volunteer Co-ordinator and our Youth Chair somehow manged to get a place on the table.
Kerry Cook and Family joined us, Kerry a player for Eastbourne for many years and now the lead Coach of our Under 16’s who incidentally have won 3 out of their last 4 games.

The above is just a small part of our developing Club Volunteer Reward Programme. Our thanks to Moody Cow Catering for providing as usual an excellent lunch and to ERFC for the Wine provided.
