Our Under16’s take a History Lesson

1 month ago By Stephen Snell

What better way to inspire, motivate and make our U16’s feel they are our future than providing every player the History of Eastbourne Rugby Club.

We thought we would step back in time and share with our current Under 16’s just how long their Club had been going for and indeed allowing them to write the next chapter and again be part of our great history of Rugby.

On Sunday 12th November before their local derby match against Lewes, which got them a win, John Feakins our Club President the Author of “A History of Eastbourne Rugby Football Club” presented every player with a signed copy of the book. The book includes stories from the past, newspaper clippings, photo's, Tour stories across many different ages and facts that you may have never known about Eastbourne Rugby Club and dates from 1892-2012.

I think the early Christmas present when down well with the players as many were reading the book after the game, thank-you Mr Feakins.
