Eastbourne United AFC's adventure in the FA Cup has ended in the Preliminary Round after a 3-2 defeat against Hastings United at The Oval

The County League leaders were ahead on twelve minutes as Jason Taylor capitalised on a weak header by Sean Ray to curl past Hastings 'keeper Josh Pelling.
Taylor was instrumental in the second goal as his pass found Lucas Mann to finish with aplomb past Pelling.
The two goal advantage was to be short lived however, as Ade Olorunda fired a thumping effort into the roof of the net past a helpless Russ Tanner.
Hastings drew level in the 37th minute after a scramble in the area saw the ball fall to Frankie Sawyer who finished past Tanner.
The scores remained level until the 79th minute when a long throw fell to Dave Cook who saw his shot from the edge of the area deflected past a stranded Tanner.
