Wes Tate scored a hat-trick to help Eastbourne United AFC secure a 7-1 victory over Crawley Down Gatwick at The Oval

Paul Rogers opened the scoring with 23 minutes played, before Tate hit a 25 yard free kick that squirmed through the grasp of visiting 'keeper Shayne Goldsmith five minutes before half time.
On the stroke of half time, Tate doubled his tally from the penalty spot after handball inside the area.
Crawley showed signs of a fightback at the start of the second half by pulling a goal back through Ciaran Steers on 53 minutes, but Tate put the game beyond doubt ten minutes later with his second penalty of the afternoon to complete his hat-trick after the returning Jason Taylor (pictured) was pulled down inside the area, resulting in a red card for Crawley captain Blair Cooney.
Taylor then got his name on the scoresheet as he tapped in Bailo Camara's cross for number five, before Taylor got his second of the afternoon when he placed an effort across Goldsmith.
Jonno Melia added a seventh in time added on as he reacted quickest to fire home a rebound from a Camara shot that had been spilt by Goldsmith.
