Club Awarded Grant Funding for Drainage Work
The Club has received grant money that will enable drainage work to be undertaken to cure the clubs chronic flooding problem.
Thanks to an award of £4500 from the Renewable Energy Fund, as managed by the South Lanarkshire Rural Partnership, the club has been able to finance the completion of drainage work on the ground.
Over the course of the past few seasons, the ground had proven incapable of dealing with anything more than a shower. This clearly was a problem that required attention and thanks to the grant, a serious step forward in the clubs drainage strategy has been achieved.
