First, it was Cricket Scotland, who certified the efforts of the club with a certificate presentation. Already we are looking to next milestone in this regard!

Next, it was the local sports council, who informed us that the 1st XI had been nominated for 'Team of the Year' on the basis of their outstanding 2013 season.

Then it was the local governing body, the Western District Cricket Union who awarded the club the top level possible in their own accreditation scheme, MatchFit. This measures lots of criteria and achieving the top level suggests the club is in rude health!

Finally and by no means least, the club was awarded a Bronze award by the local authority under their 'ClubSL' scheme.

These awards have been a massive boost to the club and represent a really pleasing and deserved set of recognition for the hard work that is put in by this club of amateurs and volunteers. Receiving recognition such as those listed above is vindication that the clubs policies in relation to ground development, junior development, player development, financial management, community engagement and communication are all on the right lines. They also provide a frame work with which to structure future efforts.
