This is a reminder for anyone still interested in ordering tickets for Scotland’s three away and two home matches in the 2018 Six Nations. The deadline I set for home applications in June was 17 November but in view of growing interest & competition for tickets for Scotland’s matches, I am going to bring my home ticket deadline forward to Wednesday 1 November. You have all had ample time to apply for tickets.

The deadline for away applications is Saturday 21 October (N.B. I will not be up the club that day).

1. Away Matches
We now have prices and application deadlines for the three away matches, as follows:

Wales v Scotland, Sat 3 Feb 2018, KO 2.15pm – the only price category is £80.

Ireland v Scotland, Sat 10 Mar 2018, KO 2.15 pm – prices are £74, £65 or £51. The majority of Scotland’s allocation is at the £74 level so applicants for the lower categories may be upgraded if demand exceeds supply.

Italy v Scotland, Rome, Sat 17 Mar 2018, KO 12.30pm – prices are £55, £37 or £28 (latter tickets more scarce and in greater demand so requests may be upgraded to the higher price categories if the Scottish allocation is oversubscribed).

No money is required yet for Away tickets – allocations will be confirmed on or around 24 November and payment for tickets will be due on or around 15 December.

I already have applications for some of these matches from various people. So, while they will have priority in the event of any scarcity, please do let me know by Saturday 21 October if you would like away tickets.

2. Home Matches

I need applications and payments for tickets by Wednesday 1 November. The club will not subsidise you so don’t miss this deadline. Money to me by bank transfer (I will supply the account details separately to those interested – it is not the rugby club account), cash or cheque payable to me.

Scotland v France, Murrayfield, Sunday 11 Feb 2018, kick off 3pm.

Silver (Under 18s only) - £35

N.B. No student tickets available for this match.

Availability? - We got an allocation of 50 tickets for this match. Reflecting orders received already, we still have availability for: 2 x £80, 22 x £65 and 14 x £45 available for adults (or Under 18s in Silver & Bronze categories). It’s first come, first served (priority to members). But helpful if you let me know what you would prefer before giving me any money, to avoid disappointment.

I also have 15 “non-members” at the top of the reserve queue for £45 tickets if we don’t need them – French Edusport rugby guys, courtesy of Fraser Stott’s activities. If we don’t use all our allocation, I will propose to let the Edusports guys have them.

Availability? We also have an allocation of 50 tickets for this match. We have 20 x £65 tickets available. The cheapest tickets at £50 are oversubscribed at present but let me know if you are interested in £50 tickets and I will see if there is anything I can do (no promises to anyone!). Like the French match, let me know what you prefer before giving me any money.

REPEAT: deadline for applications AND payments for both home matches – Wednesday 1 November. Cash or cheques in my name (not EKRFC!), or bank transfer if you prefer. Don't leave money behind the bar.

No need to fill in a form - I am happy to accept applications by text or email. Any application is bound by the usual rules – tickets for your use i.e. won’t be sold on for profit.

Please stick to the deadlines. Limited room for manoeuvre, particularly now that Scotland matches are selling out like hotcakes.
