EKRFC celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2018. We are launching our Anniversary year with a Gala Dinner on Saturday, 8 September 2018. We have provisionally booked the Bruce Hotel in EK for the event.

This date is the closest Saturday to the 50th anniversary of the first meeting which led to the formation of the club (as we have a note of that inaugural meeting in the club archive!).

Other anniversary events will be planned and publicised in due course. The club has a 50th Anniversary sub-committee led by Ian Lonsdale planning events but if you have any suggestions, or would like to sponsor some particular anniversary occasion, please share your thoughts with me and I will pass them on to Ian (as he has still to catch up with electronic communications).

I hope to try to contact as many of our former players and members as possible about the Anniversary Year but do feel free to pass on news of this event, and the year, to anyone you know that may be interested.
