AGM is Thurs 14 May, 7.30 at EKSC. We need your support. All members welcome. Some Committee positions vacant - volunteers (or conscripts) required.

Yes, it's senior club AGM time again, when we review the past year and consider how we can do better next year and beyond.

All the usual paperwork that requires to be shared is on the EKRFC Noticeboard in the clubhouse (except an amendment to the constitution which will go up later today, Friday 1 May).

The Agenda and Nominations sheet for Office Holders is also on this website in the documents section (top item) – click here. The minutes of last year's AGM are NOT on the website, they are only on the Noticeboard.

The proposed amendment to the Constitution is uncontroversial and is simply to include a more positive statement about equality of access /participation for all, which is required for applications for financial support.

Any written motions must be submitted in writing to Malcolm MacDonald at least 48 hours prior to the AGM (email motions acceptable).

Nominations for the EKRFC Committee, playing and associated positions with proposers and nominees are listed separately via the hyperlink above.

Any member who wishes to stand for any position(s) on the list should inform Malcolm MacDonald in writing (email and text acceptable) - they must also have a proposer and seconder who are both club members.

While there are various current office holders willing to stand again, if you think you would like to apply for ANY of the Committee roles please do put your name forward. We need people with new ideas, commitment and enthusiasm to work hard on behalf of the club.

We particularly need a Vice President (as Peter Hagerty is stepping in to the big seat!) and Match Secretary as Paul Hill is not standing again. We also need a representative on the Sports Club Management Committee.

The AGM also provides an opportunity to vote for our Most Improved Player of the Year and congratulate other award winners e.g. top points scorer etc.

Please spread the word and try to encourage everyone to attend the meeting on Thursday 14 May at 7.30pm.
