Ther is still time for you to donate your old rugby kit (provided it is clean) to help those overseas who can't afford rugby kit. Deliver your kit to the Sports Club by Saturday 18 February. More details below:
As part of Aldwinians RUFC’s 75th Anniversary, the Manchester club is attempting to collect around 15,000 - 20,000 new or second hand rugby shirts that will be given to LV= SOS Kit Aid to distribute to under-privileged people to help promote rugby worldwide. This will be the biggest collection ever for LV= SOS Kit Aid.
Aldwinians are looking for you to donate as many rugby shirts as possible. How many shirts do you have stashed away that haven’t been used for many years and/or you will never squeeze in to again?
Shirts need not be new but should be wearable because, immediately after the event the shirts will be collected by LV= SOS Kit Aid, sorted into kits and distributed to needy causes all over the world. All sizes welcomed, from skinny minis to front row porkers.
I will hold/collate EKRFC's contribution to the shirt collection so let me know how many shirts you want to donate. EKRFC will be donating a club shirt. More information about the challenge is available here.
