Sad news - John Davies, Cricket Section, passed away 5 Jan
Some members will be sorry to learn John Davies, a stalwart of the Cricket Section and Sports Club, passed away on 5 Jan. Funeral arrangements below.
John Davies' funeral will take place on Tuesday 15 January 2013 at 9.30am at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Sydes Brae, Blantyre. G72 0TL.
John was a founding member of EK Cricket Club and, amongst other things, a regular watcher of the rugby club along with a number of other cricketers. He also served on the Sports Club Committee for a number of years.
Health issues prevented him in recent years from being around the club as much as he would have liked.
