Training Times on K Park from 27 Sept onwards

1sts,2nds,U18s (+ U15 on Tues) will be using the K park for training Tues & Thurs 7-8 pm from 27 Sept to 15 March 2012 inclusive. K Park rules below.

EKRFC (Seniors) Training Arrangements – K Park

With the recent “even worse than normal EK weather”, the two senior, the Under 18 and Under 15 teams in EKRFC have amended their plans for use of the 3G soccer pitches, known as the K Park.

We had agreed a block booking to coincide with the clocks changing (end October) but we will now use the facility every Tuesday and Thursday evening with immediate effect from 7-8 pm through to and including 15 March 2012. The U15s will train only on a Tuesday. Timing variations for the festive season will be announced later.

In common with our normal policy, all players should be changed and ready to start training at 7 pm.

It is important that all EKRFC players and members who use the K Park adhere to their rules for use of the facilities. These are set out below. This particularly includes wearing the correct footwear, abiding by the No Smoking policy and the “no chewing gum” rule etc.

Footwear: K Park’s preference is that users wear rubber molded boots. If you must wear trainers, K Park’s first preference is that you wear dimpled trainers. “Normal” trainers are, however, acceptable. If anyone is in any doubt about the acceptability of any footwear, talk to the K Park staff before using the pitch.

Forbidden Items:

• No blades or metal or nylon screw in studs allowed at any time.

• No smoking or fire.

• No food or drink

• No chewing gum

• No glass

• No animals

• No vehicles

For obvious reasons, rugby club players should NOT use the K Park 3G pitches if they are dirty. N.B. It is K Park Management policy to ban anyone found using inappropriate footwear or trailing mud around the facility.

Respecting other users of the facility - it is also important to respect other people using the facility. Any inappropriate behaviour, including physical or verbal abuse of youths, coaches, match officials or others using the facility will be dealt with by the K Park Management, who are authorised by the EK Community Trust to expel anyone who fails to comply with these requirements.
