East London's Ladies saved their best performance until the final game of the season with a 55-5 victory over champions Wymondham Wasps Ladies at the Memorial Ground in West Ham on Sunday (19 March). SEE MATCH REPORT.
On Saturday East London’s second team the Wyverns lost 6-11 against Brentwood 2s at the Memorial Ground on Saturday in the semi-final of the 2nd XV Essex Cup.
In what was a tight game throughout, the visitors took the lead on the half hour with a penalty which was soon cancelled out by a home penalty from inside centre Craig O'Donnell. The sides were level at the break.
Brentwood took the lead on the hour with another penalty but O'Donnell once again brought the scores level six minutes later.
With no quarter being given the home side then lost two players to yellow card offences and the visitors took advantage with an unconverted try towards the end.
East London’s 4s won 34-5 away at Witham 2s to complete their season in Shepherd Neame Essex Merit Table division seven.

On Saturday (March 25) East London's 1st XV return to action in London 3 North East with an away trip to Upminster.
