East Preston FC regret to announce that Club Photographer, Bryan Hardman, sadly passed away peacefully earlier today.

Bryan had not been well for the last year and his illness had prevented him from attending any matches recently.

Football Chairman Terry Doyle said 'Everyone connected with East Preston FC were sad to learn of the death of Bryan after a long illness. Bryan’s passion was photography and his excellent match day photographs were admired by all. Above all we will miss his big smile. The club have lost a true friend and supporter.'

Manager Bob Paine added 'This is devastating news for all at the club. I first met Bryan four years ago when I started at Worthing FC with the U21's and his son Matt was part of the squad. Bryan was at every game taking match photos. When I moved to EP he came as part of the team and took some wonderful photos which are great memories for the boys. He was a true friend to me very supportive always with a smile and he loved watching and taking photos of the team in action.
I know all the team will miss him terribly and as one of the boys said tonight 'he was one of the nicest, kindest and most genuine blokes you could ever meet. He will always be remembered'. The club echo those words, the world has lost a good man'.

All at the club send their thoughts and prayers to Sue, Matt, Jon and the rest of the family.

The club will mark Bryan's passing at a future home first team game, details of which will be announced in due course.
