In his teens, Ollie played representative football for Sussex and was at Crawley Town FC in their youth set up until he moved to Lewes. In his first season at Lewes he captained their U18 team and that same season made his first team debut away at Harrow Borough under the then Lewes manager Garry Wilson.

Ollie said 'I decided it was time to leave Lewes to further my senior football career and I like what I've seen and heard at East Preston and it is clear they are very ambitious and have some excellent young players'

Manager Bob Paine commented 'I'm delighted Ollie has decided to join us at East Preston and he will further improve our excellent young squad'.
