EP U21's drew 2-2 at Shoreham after leading 2-0 at half time

The U21's let a 2-0 half time lead slip to draw 2-2 at Shoreham in an entertaining contest at Middle Road last night.

Once again Dylan Barnes was on target with both EP's goals and he now has seven goals in four games for the U21's.

Barnes first goal came after 27mins when a delightful through ball by Tyrell Brown set him free and his clinical finish put the away side 1-0 up.

EP's second goal came on 42 mins when Barnes seized on a poor back pass rounding the keeper to score.

Shoreham were given a lifeline after 69 mins when the ball was given away in a dangerous position and they made no mistake to beat Ben Purkis with a fine shot. The equaliser came 6 mins later when a poorly struck free kick from 20 yards out somehow went straight in.

EP now sit in second place in the league with seven points from four games and their next game is On Thursday 29th September at the Lashmar vs. Horsham YMCA.
