Membership

All club members will have received a letter from the Honorary Secretary on behalf of the club committee which sets out our intention to improve our membership position prior to our drive to increase our membership. In past years as a club we have tried to take a firm line with members over the collection of membership fees but some members have not co-operated with us. To date little action has been taken to force those members to pay at the required time. We cannot do this anymore given that we will need to maximise our resources towards developing the club facilities and anyone we turn to for help will expect us to have a tight control over the financial position of the Club.
To that end the committee expects that all current members will pay their annual membership dues by the date expected. The season ends about the 30th of April each year and therefore the membership subscription could be said to be due from the start of May. As a club we ask that the subscription is paid by the 1st September and as an encouragement to pay we offer a reduction to those that pay before the end of November. This year we urge all members to pay the annual subscription by September 1st 2010 and certainly before the end of November. Tony Randall the new Membership Secretary will be in regular attendance in the Club house to take your payment and issue you with a card. Payment will also be accepted by post and a card sent out by return of post.

Annual subscriptions for membership are now due and if paid before 1st November will
be subject to a discount of £10.00 for Members & V.P’s and £5.00 for the remainder.
