ALTON RENNALLS (25) a right sided defender who lists Mansfield Town and Rushen and Diamonds among his former clubs. Alton joins from Belper Town FC. Ramshaw describes Alton as, "..... a big, strong and very quick defender who is comfortable on the ball."
FABIAN SMITH (27) a midfield player previously with Scunthorpe United and Ilkeston Town. Fabian, whose last club was Quorn FC, missed most of last season with an injury but is now fully fit and raring to go! Said the Badgers' Boss, "Fabian is a very competitive midfield player who has a great engine but at the same time is comfortable on the ball. If he can overcome his injury problems he will be a major player for us.Fabian will be one of the more experienced players in the squad which is something we need considering the youthful make up of the current team."
SAM ANDREW (19) last year's Badgers # 1 and Young Player of the Year. Sam needs no introduction to the fans. The former Leeds United and Sheffield United youngster had a stand out season for the Club after joining in January and was top of Ramshaw's list of players to retain. The Boss is delighted to have secured the signature of Andrew despite fierce competition from a number of Blue Square Conference Clubs. "In Sam and Deaks we have two of the best keepers in the league", said Ramshaw, "And it is going to be interesting to watch then battle it out for the # 1 shirt. People forget Deaks is only 25 himself so we now have two of the best goalkeeping prospects in non league football at this football club."
