Match Report 7th Feb 2016 Eccleshall V Telford

After what seems like an eternity since our last game, Eccleshall took on Telford at home. Telford arrived with similar numbers to ourselves allowing for two teams to play aside at the same time.
With the torrential rain on Saturday the pitches did well to be in such good condition, although at the end of the game one parent described the players as “looking like hippos”
Both squads were evenly matched seeing some great rugby from both sides, with some hard fort tagging and cracking tries. It was a good session, dusting off the cobwebs after having two months of training. Bring on Burntwood next week
